Ginger-Infused Vodka


Ginger is an underestimated flavor when it comes to distilled spirits, and can put a really nice spin on a classic cocktail.

The infusion is very easy, but does take some time so make sure to plan accordingly.

Take a cup of whole ginger and let it sit in a jar of our rice vodka for 2 days. After those days, take the ginger and cut the whole piece into 1/8-inch thick dials, and let it sit in the vodka for two whole weeks. It’s a lot of time, but it’s for optimal flavor.

After the 16 days, you now have homemade ginger-infused rice vodka.

Now, it’s time for a cocktail:

The Pomegranate Ginger Blast

Ingredients:

· 1 ½ oz J.T. Meleck Ginger-Infused Rice Vodka

· ½ oz Lemon Vodka

· ½ oz Simple Syrup

· 2 oz unsweetened Pomegranate juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into a highball glass filled with ice. Pour in Ginger ale to fill glass.

J.T. Ginger Vodka Tonic

Ingredients:

· 2 ounces J.T. Meleck Ginger-Infused Rice Vodka

· Tonic

Pour the ginger-infused vodka over ice and top with tonic.
